We're kicking off our Carymoor Wetland Centre and Nature Trail and we need your help
Carymoor is a unique place. A beautiful, purpose-built nature reserve covering 100 acres of reclaimed landfill that's home to a Celtic roundhouse, Forest School, sustainably built Education Centre, and wild flower gardens. It's somewhere that inspires people to live more sustainably and to care for their environment. And now we're aiming to offer even more in our quest to bring green issues to life, all year round.
We want to bring people even closer to nature by restoring our Long Pond and improving our facilities – but we need your support to raise the £25,000 we need.
The money will revitalise our Long Pond, so visitors can get up close and personal with the local wildlife, and enjoy a vibrant, biodiverse habitat that's perfect for enquiring minds. We're also creating an interactive nature trail and improving the facilities for everyone at our Education Centre.
We're already applying for grant funding – but anything our friends contribute towards the costs will result in matched funding.
