Carymoor Environmental Trust

21st anniversary open day

Saturday 9th September 2017

10am to 4pm

2017 marks Carymoor's 21st anniversary. Since 1996 the team at Carymoor has helped to transform 100 acres of capped landfill into a wildlife-rich nature reserve. Thousands of school children come to Carymoor each year to have a first-hand experience of wildlife and to learn about living more sustainably.

It's a milestone we are very pleased to celebrate with an open day. The day will be a chance for families to come down and take part in our usual mix of crafts, trails and hands-on wildlife activities.

There will also be a chance to take a guided tour around the site at Carymoor and to see the nature reserve.

Site walks will take place at 10 am, 12pm and 2pm. Refreshments will be available at the centre.

Book a site tour: call 01963 350143 or email rupert.farthing@carymoor.org.uk. Free entry but donations are very welcome!
