In this workshop, you will learn the basic principles of needle felting, using beautiful British wool. We will look at the anatomy of bees and how it can be represented uniquely and beautifully in wool and stitch.

Part way through the day we will take a break from our crafting to explore the Carymoor Nature Reserve and see if we can spot any of the bees that live on our site, as well as looking at the other flora and fauna that make Carymoor such a unique and special place.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those looking to hone their needlefelt skills and to experiment with stitch.

Please bring a small tin or container to work into, although we will have a few spares.

Please bring lunch but refreshements will be provided throughout the day.

Places must be booked in advance here
